OUR HOUSE - LEARNING THE WINGS OF A DOVE

We were split off into groups to have a first listen of the song, and become familiar with the melody line and lyrics. Here is a video of us going through it.

Evaluation:

Whilst the melody is fairly easy to grasp- both the verse and chorus melody lines are based on the interval of a major third- its quite hard to sing in tune, jumping back and forth between this interval at a fast pace.  Lyrically, there aren't loads of different verses to learn, and the choirs' lyrics are the same throughout. 

For next time:

I would like to be confident enough with the lyrics to be able to put our dance along to it with fluently and without compromising either the vocals of the movement. This will be achieved by a sense of familiarity to the song, by listening to it more, and practicing singing along to it.
